Interactive Legal Training | Articulate Rise 360
Intellectual Property Fundamentals is a self-paced eLearning course designed for a general audience to explore the importance and practical applications of Intellectual Property. The course breaks down complex legal concepts into clear, accessible content supported by interactive elements and applied practice activities to enhance understanding and retention.
When designing this course, I focused on clarity, accessibility, and applied instructional design, multimedia, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. To support diverse learner needs, I incorporated a variety of multimedia—including video, audio, visuals, interactive activities, and AI-supported content—to create an engaging, inclusive, and accessible learning experience.

Branching Scenario-Based Retirement Training | Articulate Storyline 360
Elective Deferrals is a scenario-based eLearning experience designed for retirement plan professionals to explore three 401(k) contribution options: Pre-Tax, Designated Roth, and Catch-Up contributions. Learners step into the role of David, a retirement plan professional, and guide Emma, a newly eligible plan participant, through her contribution options. The experience allows learners to choose the order in which they explore each option, review practical examples, and return to the consultation before completing a five-question assessment.
When designing this course, I focused on scenario-based learning, learner choice, real-world application, and visual storytelling. I used Storyline layers, variables, conditions, triggers, object states, and animations to create an interactive branching experience in which learners must explore all three contribution options before progressing to the summary. The scenario also connects eligibility rules directly to Emma’s situation, helping learners apply the content rather than simply memorize it.
To showcase multimedia and AI-supported development, I created the scenario introduction in Camtasia, incorporating AI-generated visuals and video, AI-assisted content development, an AI-cloned narration voice, background music, and closed captions. The lesson concludes with a five-question assessment with feedback and unlimited attempts, supporting practice and reinforcement until learners demonstrate mastery.

Scenario-Based Compliance Training | Articulate Storyline 360
Large Cash Deposits: BSA Essentials is a compliance-focused microlearning module designed to help banking professionals apply Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements in real-world situations. Learners practice identifying suspicious activity, understanding reporting obligations, and following proper compliance procedures through interactive activities, branching scenarios, and knowledge checks.
When designing this course, I applied accessibility, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), adult learning principles, and cognitive overload theory to create a clean, focused learning experience. I incorporated practical assessments, AI-supported elements such as an avatar guide, and scenario-based branching activities that allow learners to safely practice real-world decisions while building confidence and competence.

Sample UDL-Based Blended ILT Learning Activities
This portfolio artifact showcases sample digital learning activities inspired by a corporate training project I originally designed for a bank's call center employees. The examples presented here were created specifically to demonstrate my instructional design approach and are not the original proprietary training materials.
Guided by Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles—including multiple means of engagement, representation, and action and expression—and a computational thinking approach, I transformed a traditionally challenging topic into an engaging blended learning experience. The solution incorporates interactive calculators, dynamic visualizations, guided simulations, collaborative activities, scenario-based practice, and immediate feedback to help learners grasp complex concepts and confidently apply them on the job.
These sample artifacts demonstrate my approach to designing accessible, learner-centered, and performance-focused experiences that reduce barriers to learning, support learner variability, and promote meaningful knowledge transfer.
